If you have decent quality (not top-of-the-line) patio furniture, can you tell me where you got it? I'm looking for a patio dining set and I'm not have very good luck on line or in stores.... I almost got a slightly used set on Criagslist, but chickened out... Where did you get your patio dining set?
Thanks!

We got our set a few years ago, at Wal-Mart at the end of the season when they had them marked down. It originally came with a rectangular shape glass-topped table and while I liked it, it was a pain to keep clean (we live in the country) and one time we came home from a camping trip and there had been a storm and the top was broken, glass all over the deck. We still have no idea how it got broken as there was no tree near it so a limb didn't fall on it.

We ended up getting a black wrought-iron table to replace it and we like it much better. It's easier to keep clean, and it's not going to break.

I got my set at Lowes. One suggestion, if you have an issue with storage do not buy chairs that don't stack. We replaced a 5 seater set that had stackable chairs with a 6 seat sling chair set. Dh was not happy with my choice :rolleyes1

we bought two sets about three years ago. One was bought at Sears and the other at Meijer. We bought a four chair set with a firepit. The cushions held up nicely, the firepit had a tile top that cracked the first year and the chairs are all rusting on the bottom part of the legs.
The set we bought from Meijers had six chairs, a table and umbrella. We've had the chairs break at where they were (?)welded together. No rust though. My oldest son broke the table top (sssssh don't tell hubby--We told him the wind caught it, neglected to tell him that the umbrella was left open.)

These were all taken apart and stored in the attic over winter.

Got a great deal at walmart. Had to put the set together myself, but it was a table and 6 chairs...I think it was about $215 for the whole thing.

we just bought a amrtha stewart set at home depot for $500. it was a 7 piece dining set. umbrella was separate for $189.

We bought ours a few years ago from Sam's Club and LOVE it!. The table has removable granite tiles. It came with 2 extra tiles but if they ever break, they are standard size so it would be easy and pretty inexpensive to replace if they break.

Besides the table, the set came with 4 side chairs, 2 swivel/rocker chairs, a small side table and the base for the umbrella. It was about $650 for all of this! We bought a huge umbrella from Sam's as well that was a little less than $100.00. We still get compliments!

I have been looking too. Anyone buy and like JC Pennys stuff? Does it hold up? I am looking for a gray or black set since my house is not brown and this is one of the places I found gray stuff.

Mine is Martha from KMart. We got it 4 summers ago and it still looks brand new. We do put it in the basement in the winter but other than that it is out from April to October or so.

The set we had in our old house was from Walmart. I liked that one too but we sold it because it wasn't going to fit the space we had here, the set was too small.

We've got our eyes on a NICE (to us ;)) glass-top, metal patio set... it's $150 for the table, and $20 a chair. The chair are those typical curvy, mesh chairs. REALLY sturdy stuff. Something to check out!
