We stayed overnight in Siesta Key last August. We were a short stroll from the beach and it was so beautiful and peaceful. The place we stayed at was called Tropical Beach Resort. The address is 6717 Sara Sea Circle. There are actually 3 small motels, Tropical Beach, Tropical Shores and Sara Sea Beach Resort. I was worried about staying at a motel because we needed 2 rooms and would we were not guaranteed to be next door. It had wonderful reivews on tripadvisor and I am so glad we stayed there. It was really beautiful! It is a motel with outside entrance, but when you enter the room, it's really great. My husband and I had a room with a king bed and sleeper sofa and small kitchen. The kids stayed in one room by themselves. Their room had 2 queens and a sleeper sofa and a small kitchen.
We paid $84.55 per room plus tax which totaled $93.85. I am sure that was with a
AAA discount. I had to put down a nights deposit per room, so our rooms were paid for in advance. They did not ask for a credit card when we arrived.
Their website is

After much research it was the only place I could find that would rent nightly. There was a really nice place in the same circle that I thought I would like to stay at this summer(we saw it walking by on our way to the beach). The name was so basic I thought I could remember it. But I cannot remember the name or even find it online.
I have photos of that section of the beach, but not of the motel. I would post online, but I'm not sure how. The beach is at the opposite end of the public beach, very beautiful and quiet.
