Hey,

My family members, 4 adults and 4 children (aged 2, 3, 4 and 6)are going to Orlando on a very last minute trip tomorrow May 03 (one of them has some work).

They will be there May 03 through May 05 (2 nights)

They may try to get tickets to any Disney or Universal park which has availability this week, but it is unlikely.

Can you please recommend an affordable (less than $200 a night, preferably less than $150 a night per room, or a family room which can accommodate both families for about $250 a night?

Preferably something which has great onsite attractions for kids, e.g. pools, as they may not be able to visit the park.

They have cars.

Thank you so much

Do you mean TWO rooms that sleep four each? Or one big "suite" that sleeps eight?

Two rooms they have tons of options so would need to narrow that more or focus on pools.

One "room" will get tricky because they would need 3 bedrooms or some kids will sleep on sofa bed if that works.

The Dolphin is $167/night but has a $35 resort fee (swananddolphin.com). Parking is extra too.

It would put you right in the middle of WDW.

These 3 on Hotwire.com appear to be Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, Wyndham Grand Orlando Bonnet Creek, and the Waldorf-Astoria

This one on Hotwire appears to be the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista, which is across the street from Disney Springs.

If you go directly to www.wyndhamhotels.com and have a AAA membership, you can get Wyndham Lake Buena Vista directly for $93.20 per night.

This gives you an idea of where it is, relative to Disney Springs.

If it were one room, I was thinking something along the lines of the Two Bedroom Deluxe Suite at Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort.

Otherwise two rooms, one for each family. I doubt they can get tickets to any of the WDW parks this late, unless there are parks which do not need reservations for the upcoming week?

Thank you

I’d also look at Margaritaville just SW of AK (Kissemmee), try thru Expedia to start. Think everyone could have a great time even if you just stayed there. Under $600 for 2 rooms, 2 nights.

Actually, since your group wants to check-in on Monday and Check-out on Wednesday, Tuesday at Epcot might be good.

Get your Park Pass quickly though, who knows how long it will last.

Staying at Wyndham Lake Buena Vista lets you walk (if the adults want to drink) or drive to Disney Springs on the Monday that you arrive.

Yes that is a disappointment, I am trying to figure out if there are other less popular Disney parks which do not require reservations, or if there are any Universal parks which do not require reservations
You could go to Disney's Blizzard Beach, spend all day at that water park.

Our kids love Blizzard Beach! (And it costs less than a theme park.)

Have you ever been to BB?
