Aeropostale - Uuuuggghhh!

I was excited to see that Aeropostale was having a sale - 30% off their clearance. I saw a coat last week on clearance for $29.99 and almost bought it, but decided not to. I went to the site today to buy my coat for what I thought would be bout $21.00 and amazingly, the coat that was $29.99 last week is now $42.99 on "clearance". With the 30% off, it is now $29.99! I am assuming they did this (marked up) to all of their clearance. So disappointing! It makes me not want to shop at Aero anymore, but with three kids in the house, I know that won't happen. Just needed to vent!

I know this might be out of line to suggest this to some people but IMHO go to "Goodwill" or any consignment shop. I have 4 kids and 2 are teenage girls. Today I went to Goodwill and spent $30 on easily $125 worth of clothes from Areo, Abercrombie, American Eagle, Gap, etc. I am not joking or exagerating on what I was able to find. It has now become like a treasure hunt for me and the girls! Some days we find alot and some days not so much. My daughter has even made it a compition betwenn her BFF and her on who can find what! And we are recycling

ALOT of stores actually do this...including Disney Store online. Aero does seem todo it the most that I have seen though...you are right...very frustrating!

I'd wait until Thanksgiving or Black Friday and check again. They always have a big sale on their website-I remember ordering a bunch of stuff last year for next to nothing.

I feel your pain!! My daughter picked out several items on the clearance rack the day before Thanksgiving. I went in on Black Friday to get them and they had taken them off the floor and put them in the back. I was so dosappointed. But, I now take a day off around mid Dec. and Aeropostale has amazing sales then, but not on Black Friday.
