aeroplan getaway gift card?

Has anyone used the Aeroplan Getaway Gift Card on stays at Disney hotels? They said they can be used like a credit card anywhere that accepts American Express.

Aeroplan offers free nights at the Disney hotels, but I have CAA. Theoretically, if I book a room-only with a CAA-discount ... I should be able to use these cards to pay off the rooms at check-out, right?

Has anyone done this for Disney?
