Aerogarden?

I received an aerogarden for Christmas and planted tomatoes on the 26th. It is over 8 months later and I am still getting tomatoes! I ran out of plant food months ago and they just keep growing. I actually had to bend one in half, so it wouldn't touch the light. It looks sort of like Frankenstein bent over, but it still gives tomatoes. Is this normal, or am I lucky? How long does a single planting usually last?

I love my aerogarden! I did the herb pack and it lasted 7+ months. We had so much dill and basil, I got really creative in how to use them in everyday cooking. I really wanted to try something different, so I pull them and started the salad greens. same thing! It has been 6 months and still going strong.
