We're planning to purchase an twin-size Aerobed for our summer vacation. We're staying at the Swan and DS is 13 and DD is 10. Now that I'm looking at prices I'd like to have an idea of what a good sale price for one is.

Thanks.

I was fortunate enough to find one after the holidays this year at our local Stop & Shop on their discount table -I paid $19.99 for the Aerobed -twin, and it was the brand name Aerobed, too. I had been wanting these for so long, but just never wanted to put the $$ out. So, I grabbbed this one when I found it - it was the only one left. I forget what the regular price was. They are great for when family or friends with kids visit or for traveling. And right now my older DS has it in his dorm room at college for when a friend visits and stays over.

I think the twin are in the $75.00 range - someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

Check Overstock.com. I got a queen sized Aerobed there a few years ago. We love it. Our BJ's carries them also.

I bought mine for $20 at the local thrift store. It was brand new in the box still sealed up. I love it!

I got mine at our local Name Brand Clothing Discount store for only $15.00, but when I got it home, the valve was missing, so I had to order a replacement for another $15.00. Still, $30.00 is way cheaper than the $80 to $100 I've seen them go for!!

Just in case you don't find a good price on an Aerobed. I bought a twin sized inflatable mattress, Coleman brand, at Walmart for about $15 a few years ago. I also bought a pump for it for another $20. Together it is no larger than the average twin Aerobed with pump. PLUS I am able to use the pump for other things like pool floats and rafts! THe mattress inflates and deflates very quickly. My folks have a queen Aerobed and I liken the quality of my Coleman to their Aerobed (which they paid big bucks for several years ago!)......P

Unless you are lucky enough to find one at bargain basement prices, anything under $100 is a good price. I noticed last week at Costco they had queens for 99. We were able to get a queen and a twin pretty cheap. Another option would be to borrow one. Do you know anyone that has one. I know there are about 5 in our immediate family and are often exchanged back and forth. Or buy one and use it for the week and resell it when you get home. They are unbelievably convenient and comfortable. Good luck.

Thanks for the idea.
Since we're not going to Disney until August I think I'll wait until after July 4th and try to get something on clearance. By then they will have replaced the camping gear with snow shovels!

I was in BBB today and they have an aerobed that is called the college edition. I live in ohio and they are charging $60 for that edition and you can use the 20%coupon on it. The one difference that I saw between that one and the regular one is the size:the college one is 8inches and the regular one is 9ins. thick. The college one looked good, especially smaller for packing.
So it might be more practical for taking on trips. It still had the valve to inflate it and the pump.
