advise on making ressie w/out code

Here is my question.
I want to make a ressie for end of April, beginning of May, and I want to wait for a code, but also want the security of having a ressie. Should I just make a ressie and modify it if a code comes out, or should I wait? Also, what # should I call to make this ressie. I know there are 2 different ones, right? I can't remember.

It looks like it is going to be a busy spring at Disney. I would definitely call now and reserve for your dates and apply the code later. They require 1 nights deposit that has to be paid in 10 days. The phone number is 800-828-0228.

I agree. Too many people make reservations early. You might not get the dates you want if you don't at least secure them now. You can always cancel if for some reason you don't go. Waiting to when the codes come out is too risky unless your vacation time is extremely flexible. There will be AP codes and codes for the "general" public to use. We always use a travel agent for making our room reservations. Deb at The Magic For Less Travel makes our reservations for us. Then when the codes are released, she makes the changes for us too. No charge. Makes it so much easier. I don't have to constantly look for the codes. Deb takes care of all of it.
