To be honest, a lot of employers are trying to get away from remote work. With the vaccine, many employers are saying it is time to return to the office because they have come to believe that, while remote work was necessary, it led to a decrease in efficiency.

Interesting. In my country most office type jobs will keep remote working. Maybe not full time, but about 30-50% of the time. It increases productivity here, mainly due to a better work/life balance.
