Hi! I'm planning a Febuary Disney World wedding. It will be a small $12,000 affair. I was wondering if anyone had any tips, secrets or advice to get the most for my money. Thanks!!

you should download carrie's passporters guide to wedding and honeymoons. it is fantastic! it will give you all the information you can think of, and lists all of the current prices! once you download the e-book you can download all of the updates when they happen!

as for keeping price down, there are a few things you can do
- have a 9am,10am or 12pm ceremony, it will keep the per person minimums lower for brunch or lunch!
- have a weekday wedding to keep the 12,000 minimum
- keep floral to a minimum, as prices can rocket with decor.
- use reception locations that aren't in the park, so you can use outside photography vendors.
- reception rooms like Ariels don't have room rental, and low food & beverage minimums, so you don't have to spend as much!

Understand that the $12k minimum is before taxes, gratuity, extra fees, etc, so even if you do stick to the 12k minimum exactly, you will still be paying a few thousand over.
