Advice regarding banking borrowed points

What are the current reg regarding borrowed points.

I have borrowed 200 of 2009's points and booked at the 11month mark. But now more guests are coming and I am thinking of renting a villa offsite for the second week and then using 150 of the borrowed points for a 2 bed the first week.

So what can I do with the 50 points?

You could rent or transfer them for cash. Check the rent/trade board. Or you could stay another night or two, give them as a gift, take another trip in a studio, or let them expire.

Are you using any 2008 points for this or another reservation that is upcoming? If so, ask to swap the borrowed points for the 2008 points. You can then bank the 2008 points into 2009.

Borrowed points cannot be transferred to another member. But your other suggestions are OK.
