Advice/Question - Opportunity & Availability for July?

Okay, so we (me, DH, DS7, DD3) are going 7/3-7/10 this year w/my BIL and his kids (2 boys, 1 girl), and had 2 rooms at Coronado reserved at 50% thru my other cast-member BIL. BUT - my MIL has 261 DVC points that she cannot use (and expire in Sept) and is offering them to us (for a small cost) and we are trying to figure out the best way to use them. Can anyone opine quickly the chances of AK Club Level studios being available this late for that week? (or 7/4-7/10? I think we may have to stay the night of 7/3 somewhere different, since when you add the night of 7/3 the points go up like crazy). Our next priority would be 2 AK any view studios, 2 Boardwalk Studios, 2 Bay Lake studios, a BW 2BR, 2 Beach Club Studios, and a SSprings 2BR (which we know is available) (her home DVC resort is SS if that means anything). I don't have access to the DVC page to check availability (is it all online these days?) so am at the mercy of my MIL and her limited ability to figure out the different permutations. Any ideas? Thoughts? Are we crazy? We would be going from paying $850 at Coronado for the entire 7/3-7/10 week thru my BIL to paying my MIL $500 each for the points (but possibly having to also pay for the Saturday 7/3 stay, probably keeping the Coronado reservation for that night) -- so financially I think this is good for us - costing a little less, and improving location. Does all that make sense? TIA for any thoughts!

You will need to have MIL call Member Services asap to check availability. They are open 7 days a week, so she can call tomorrow.

Unfortunately, the week of July 4th will be very difficult to find anything available. You may even find that your dates are waitlisted since you are now past the 7 month booking window.

You may need to be flexible with your dates if you are seeking to use MIL's DVC points.

We were able to book 2 studios at BCV for that same week about 3 weeks ago.

I had called the day before and July 4th was gone, but was then available when we called for reservations the next day.

VWL was available for the whole week, BWV standard and Boardwalk view had very spotty availability for the week, maybe Tuesday and Thursday nights or some other un-doable combination.

My guess is that the 4th will be hard outside SSR or OKW, but you may luck out on the rest of the week.
