Advice -- Port Opening Times??

We are taking a town car from Universal to Port Canaveral on Saturday 8/28. The service said they are not allowed to actually enter the port before 11:00 a.m., but can drop us off at the awning and we can walk across the walkway. However, what time does the terminal open for us to start entering? I'd like to get there early since we have to get ressies made onboard.

I remember the port building opening about 10:00 (we were early and had to drive around Canaveral for about 2 hours). But no matter what time you get to the port, you won't board until around noon. Then you can't make reservations until later. I got on board, went to lunch, then just split from the family and went to get Palo while they found the cabin. I didn't rush (a lot) and was first in line for Palo reservations. In short, don't worry a lot about being early to port.

The port opens to incoming traffic at 10, the counters open to begin check in at 10:30. The doors open for boarding about 11:45.

All said, we plan to arrive at the port about 11-11:30, and on that schedule, I've never failed to get any ressie that I wanted (10 cruises).
