Advice please

I’m planning a trip this summer, just my husband and I, to celebrate his retirement and would like some help choosing a resort. I think I’ve narrowed it down to the wilderness lodge area.....do we stay at the wilderness lodge, copper creek, or boulder ridge? While this trip will be relaxed, I still want to be close to transportation and dining. Are the three locations close together, or spread out?

They are all on the same property. The Wilderness Lodge main resort and Copper Creek DVC are in the same building. Boulder Ridge DVC resort is a few steps outside of the main building. Here’s a map… The part of the resort that is not highlighted is the main Wilderness Lodge Resort. If you stay in Copper Creek or Boulder Ridge you will have either kitchenettes or full kitchens, depending on your room size. The main resort is just standard hotel rooms. Hope that helps a bit.

If club level is operating at WL, I'd go for a CL room there instead of Boulder Ridge or Copper Creek.

I agree with Holden, if WL CL is in the budget, I would choose that. Most of the "standard" rooms on CL level have a view of the monorail and fireworks. It's lovely. If you are only looking at standard WL rooms and studios at CCV and BRV I would choose 1) CCV, 2) WL, 3) BRV in that order. Or, if you want a king bed, I would go with a 1-bedroom CCV or a king bed room at WL. I would also price all 3 out and compare pricing. WL is quite expensive these days and I don't know how much more I would pay just to stay resort-side if CCV or BRV comes out less expensive. The BRV rooms are a bit dated. IMHO, you really can't go wrong with any of them.

Everything is pretty compact, but main building has the restaurants, front desk, and gift shop, and is closer to the themed pool and boat dock. BRV is closer to the bus stop.
