Advice please,...Update last post...

call or Email her. Another perspective but maybe she is embarrassed to call you because she got the box and with just getting back she got busy and didn't call and now oh my it's been a while and she feels bad so it keeps getting put off... Been there and have done that.

As far as the gift being late I wish my kids would get something late, they get so much on Christmas it gets to be a blur.

I think your email sounds great and sets the right tone for what you are trying to accomplish!

okay, I will email:

"what's up sis? hope you guys are well.
Sorry for the delay with the gifts. They should have arrived by the 5th.
If you didn't get them, let me know.
Othewise, enjoy the toys!!!

Love you guys and talk to you later!"

good?
ME LIKE(boratish).

Email sounds great....

My brother is always easier by email... it takes a sec to hit reply and write .... yes love you back.

I would call, here's why:

My boss ordered a nice gift basket as a Christmas gift. Because I'm his only direct report in this office, he didn't want to send it here because he didn't want me to feel I had to "share" with people who don't work for him, and didn't want anyone to feel slighted for not getting something from him (not sure why they would when they do'nt work for him, but :confused3

Anyhow, A couple days after Christmas he asked if I had gotten it, and I told him no. He tracked it and FedEx showed it had been delivered a week earlier.

Long story short, New Years morning a woman knocked on my door. She keeps an eye on a house with the same house number but on a completely different street a couple blocks away--the house is vacant but not yet for sale. My gift basket had been delivered there to the wrong house by FedEx, and they had showed it as delivered--it had sat there on the doorstep for two weeks! (At least the peole in my neighborhood are honest!)

My kids would love getting some late gifts -they get so many at once -I think spreading them out is a good idea

Glad everything is good... and I agree with getting a gift late. My kids would love getting a gift in Jan... just when you think Christmas is over you get another gift :goodvibes
