Advice please on 1 day tickets

We'll be in Orlando next month and have bought 1 Day Universal Orlando Park-to-Park Access Tickets. We've been told that late evening is the best time to go to WWoHP as far as crowds are concerned. We would like to go to both parks during the day, leave to eat elsewhere and then return the same evening just to do WWoHP. Is that possible or are you only allowed one visit to each park?

Also are all days equally busy or is there a quieter day or days? Thank you.

If your tickets are park to park then you can come and go as much as you like for the day. To keep the crowds at a minimum...try to stick with weekdays since the weekends will be more crowded.
