Advice PLease - April or May 2008 ??

We're looking at flights for next year and I need some pro's and con's for April or May 2008

Our dates would be 04/12 - 04/21 or 05/21 - 05/30 flights are about the same $$ for both so that didn't help.

We have been at the end of May before but not in April.

Really want to know what would be better for crowds / weather and Hotel Discounts. The discounts arn't essential just nice to have as we normally stay at a MK deluxe and CL if we can get a good code.

May is your better bet... April is still experiencing the 'Spring Break/Easter' crowds.

I would go with May. That time period in April will still be peak rates with Spring Breaks. We always go last week of May (Memorial Day week) and although weather can be hot, it's a great time to go. It's regular season rates and lots of schools are still in session.

Our last trip was the last week of April through the first week of May. There was a noticeable difference in attendance. I know from past vacations that the first few weeks of April are some of the busiest of the year.

This year, Easter is in March, therefore, April will not be as crowded as usual. There are 6 states in the Northeast that have school vacation mid-April. But, because they do not coincide with Easter, it may be less crowded. The weather in April is great, around 75 with practically no humidity. Grad Nights for 2008 are April 18,19 and 25, 26. Flower and Garden Festival is March 18 to June 1. May is hotter; still great weather, but the temperature is beginning to climb. by the way, for 2008, April and May are considered Regular season for deluxes. Value season begins July 20 for deluxes. for Value and Mods April/May are considered Regular season until May 19--then it goes to summer season which is higher priced.

May is the better option for less crowds. Go in May!
