We are going to DW Nov of 2014. I will traveling with my husband, twin 8 1/2 yr old girls and my mom and dad.

We were looking at either Boardwalk or Old Key West 2 bedroom villa. I was looking at using David's Vacation Rental or the DVC Rental Store. Does anyone have any reviews on either one of the those companies.

I know the time of the year we are going is a little slower but is it still worth it to try and book 11 months out. I heard the Boardwalk rooms can go pretty quick.

Thanks for any help. Our trip is so far away but I can't wait to start planning!!

You'll want to contact them in early December or late November. They will find a member who has points at that resort to book the stay for your. From late September through mid-January is a busy time for DVC members.

And if you are going Jersey Week, Thanksgiving or end of F&W, you'll definitely want to book it 11 months out.

And don't respond to anyone who private messages you about getting you a reservation unless you contact them first. That's how some DISers have been scammed. And let the moderators know if someone contacts you without you first contacting them.

The BWV two bedroom villa will be a lockoff (meaning a one bedroom connected to a studio). They have no dedicated two bedroom villas there. OKW should be dedicated if you book early enough. OKW dedicated has no kitchenette in the second bedroom and no smaller balcony off the second bedroom. Just the big one off the living room. And OKW always has two queen beds in the second bedroom.
