I am trying to plan a family trip. Our choices would be the week before Easter (peak season)or anytime after the first week of June.
I don't want the kids to miss school but I heard June is very rainy and ofcourse hot.

Any advice would be appreciated!!
Thanks!

We have gone during the first two weeks of June for the past two years and have found the weather and crowds very manageable. We are from Texas so the heat and humidity are not a problem for us. As long as you take breaks out of the sun and drink LOTS of water and drown your family in sunscreen you will be ok. The majority of attractions at WDW are in the shade and many are air-conditioned. It does rain a little(about 30-45 minutes) every day but as long as you are prepared with rain gear it is also not a big deal. The only time we left a park because of rain was in 2002 while in AK--that park doesn't seem to drain very well. We decided to try and see FotLK but it had been cancelled due to a nearby lightening strike:eek: Just keep in mind that the first Saturday in June is Gay Day at MK and it can get very crowded.

Thanks for the reply. I think we might try the third week in June. It would probably be the only time we could all go together. I am hoping for some good discounts around that time. I will do as you say and keep the water and suncreen flowing!

Thanks again!!
