My family has stayed at Pop Century 2x...looking to try a new place possibly only because change of scenery:scratchin.Anyone stay at the art of animation yet? How is the food court there? Which of the others would you recommend? All Stars Sports,Movies,Music?

My family and I will be staying at a value in June (fingers crossed). We have stayed at WL (deluxe) and POR (Mod) but this will be our first value. Any suggestions would be grrreat!

We stayed at Movies this March and enjoyed ourselves after staying in a 2BR at Kidani last time. We booked preferred and got our request in Toy Story.

We enjoyed the "feeling" of the hotel. Lots of Disney icons and the pool/main building area felt very resort like to us. After coming from the mellow and quiet Kidani, we really liked the music around the main building and pools and the palm trees. The food court was good. Nothing fancy, but fresh and fairly fast. No real complaints. I probably ate 4 meatball subs while I was there. :)

Buses were okay. When sharing with the other All Stars it does make for a long trip back as Movies is always the last stop. Magical Express wasn't so hot. Came in around 8 pm and we were the FIFTH and last stop...two other resorts then Sports, Music, and Movies.

We're doing AoA this time around and I'm looking forward to being near a "lake," the different food options there (much different menu than All Stars/Pop), and the better pool/splash park/playground areas. I like that we can walk to Pop for a little variety.

We really loved Pop, definitly a cool atmosphere...only drawback you are definitly gonna notice is the difference in the beds. I was okay with it, but being our first trip we stayed at Saratoga Springs, my husband was spoiled...the mattresses are not as comfy.(but he is very hard to please) Love the food there, and a tip...main Hippy dippy Pool is the only one not heated depending on the time of year you go...we went in October, and that pool was abit cold, walk over to the bowling pin,or computer pool-much easier to get in! Another recommendation, definitly get a preferred room facing pool, we loved opening the door and hearing the music and catching some of the activities from our balcony. And its literally seconds to the food court and buses. And Pop has its own bus service, one thing I'd change though is their busstop is the furthest away at the parks.

PS-How was WILDERNESS LODGE??? WE have been dying to stay there...

Advice.. Bring your umbrella! I don't know when you guys are going, but it is HOT when you're waiting in line for the bus during summer. There are no shades. The sun beaming at you can be scorching hot.

We are DVC but stayed at AofA the night it opened before our cruise It was nice and we very much enjoyed the newness of it. Our leat favorite was All Star Sports.

We (me, DH, DD, and DS) stayed at All-Star Sports on our trip last month. We LOVED it! We liked that it was smaller than Pop. We requested the baseball section and a first floor room and received both. We were on the back, near the parking lot and it was very quiet. We ate at the food court several times and it was great. The bus situation is the best of the all-stars. It is the first dropped off and the first picked up when sharing. I highly recommend this resort.

Have stayed at All Star Music...long time ago, and we liked it. Stayed at Pop 2 years ago and really liked it more than I thought I would. Going back in November to Pop! The food court is great, and they had just finished refurbing, so it was all "new" 2 years ago...hopefully still nice and new. We had a lake facing room an enjoyed the quiet.

We just got back from our WDW vacation and stayed at All Star Music. We definitely enjoyed our stay. Room was always well taken care of and the staff was extremely friendly.

Our room was on the first floor of the Rock .. (building 4). Granted, it would have been nicer if our room was in Calypso or Jazz, but since we are constantly walking in the parks, the extra distance from our room to the main building wasn't a big deal.

We stayed from 7/2 until 7/6 and the resort was full of tour groups from Brazil, Argentina..etc.. Mostly teens..

They were a bit rowdy and noisy the first night of our stay, but the resort security quickly sorted out the issue (kudos to the staff for being quick!)

Then again, my wife kept telling me, "what do you expect from a group of teens?".

This could have happened at any resort.
