I keep seeing all these great deals that you Disers are getting on your rental cars but I can't find any thing for less then $290 for a week. I've looked at:

National- $327.29
Alamo- $289.44
Dollar- $318.49
Hertz- $513.59
Thrifty- $314.98
Budget- $510.87
Avis- $510.31

We will need it from Sun-Sun/ Jan 23-30.
Is $290 a good price for a minivan for 8 days?
Are there any codes out right now that could help me? I checked mousesavers but didn't see any. Sorry for all the questions-this is our first ever vacation and this is all new to me(and a bit scary, too!)Thanks

I just checked your dates at National with the Priceless contract ID of 6600330 from mousesavers.com and it came to a total of $257.60. If you have an entertainment book for 2005, I'm sure there's a coupon you can add that would take another $20 off. So, yes, I think you can do just a bit better.

www.lmcarrental.net is showing
$166 base
$231.74 total...

On-site...opinions vary about them as an agency:) We're there Jan23-Feb10, and they consistently show better rates...

Good luck:)

Just used L & M a couple of weeks ago and they were great! Brand new vehicle and no pressure to buy insurance or extras. No line either.
