advice on October please

Just remember that the 24th and 27th will both be OBB days so you’ll have to leave DCA by 6:00 PM each night and DL will get even more crowded! Also between 3:00 and 6:00 DCA will be a madhouse with party goers entering.

I second the opinion that if you can go in September to do that! Halloween will be in full swing and it may be less crowded! We are going the end of September and I’m a little worried about crowds.

Pack layers! It can be hot or cold or both!
We are stuck with our end of October dates
My workplace is incredibly competitive and hard to get time off, basically once you have it you have to keep it

I have wiggle room between either

October 22nd-27th Tuesday-Sunday : (no park days would be party days, since we are doing park, park, rest, park.)

October 23rd-28th Wednesday-Monday : both Disneyland days would be party days

Or

October 24th-29th Thursday-Tuesday : no park days would be party days

What’s got me torn and going back and forth is the plane fare difference between days, the ability to take advantage of Early Entry, and making sure we have weekend days for fireworks

Anything I’m missing? Something else going on that could affect these dates?

Help. I’m going a little crazy lol

I’d personally pick these dates because Disneyland and Downtown Disney at night will be crazy on party days when everyone moves out of DCA.

That also gives you Saturday for fireworks! I’m not sure how early entry works anymore since I haven’t stayed on site since it’s been back.

I have messed up, it’s all so complicated

22nd-27th means one park day WILL be a party dates that allow for no park days to be on party days are the 24th-29th

The dates

I would also plan to buy Genie+. I had to go in October, too and it was crazy busy. And HOT! however, with Genie+ we were able to see and do everything without a ton of waiting in lines.

I’d go for whichever dates have the least amount of parties to make the most of the time you have.
