Advice on NYE please

what is the flyover?

It’s a part of a recent large construction project around the MK toll plaza area. The “flyover” allows traffic going to the MK resorts and buses going to the MK bus plaza to bypass the toll plaza and keep moving more efficiently past that area. The north bound lanes heading to MK are open. Last I checked southbound (heading away from MK) weren’t done yet, but are pretty close.

Big improvement for buses and MK resort guests, in my humble opinion.

can I possibly ask will traffic to the airport be affected? We fly home on nye about 6pm. Will the traffic be awfull to get there?

It shouldn't be. We drove into Saratoga last year and had no issues. It's just within WDW to access the parks that gets really crazy. Are you taking Magical Express?

If it was me, I'd take Disney transportation to the Grand Floridian resort several hours before my dinner reservation. Id shop there and listen to the music in the lobby and maybe even have a snack at GF Cafe or quick service place. Then, closer to reservation time Id head into MK for your reservation. Either way, I wouldnt drive. I hear traffic is awful during NYE and it starts early in the day. Have fun!

I'm sure they will adjust as needed. I would think getting out of WDW will be easier than trying to drive in.
