My family is planning a trip to WDW the week of April 8th-15th. My younger brother will be celebrating his 12th birthday on one of the days we will be there and this is his first trip there. We have the disney dining plan and have reservations at the wispering canyon for the nite of his b-day. Is this a good place to celebrate and what special things could they do? We will be staying at the CB resort and have heard some ups and downs about it. What should we expect? We also have reservations at LeCellir, Maya Grill, Grand Floridian Cafe, Teppanyaki(the japanese place in epcot), Ohana, and Beach club breakfast. Any info on these resturants would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would think WC would be a great place to celebrate a birthday, provided that your brother can handle being teased a bit, and doesn't mind noisy places. It gets pretty loud in there. If your brother is shy and quiet, a different place might be in order for a birthday. If your brother is outgoing, I can't think of a better place than WC.

Whispering Canyon is one LOUD place to eat. There is nothing "whispering" about that place. If you're looking for a restaurant to have a birthday dinner and get a little rowdy, you'll have fun. All your other choices are very good!

Have fun!
