Advice on Ebay Tickets

Are the tickets sold on Ebay claiming that they are new and never used - expire 12/2005 valid?

I wouldn't take a chance if I were you. You could end up spending some big $$$ only to find out, when you get to the gate, they're not valid. You'd better think about this purchase...seriously.

Most of the convention tickets that are sold expire at the end of the year. These might very well be the convention tickets Disney sells. They are sold for days ranging from 2 to 5 days. My guess is that is what the seller has.

I would be very leary. We've heard many good and bad stories on ebay tickets in the last few years. Remember that all the new tickets require a finger scan and cannot be used by anyone else.

There are no guarantees that they are good. That is the tough part. I can not imagine what we would do if we spent $$$ on tickets only to find out at the gate they are not good. Most people do not have the extra $$$ to buy another set.

There are a few ticket brokers you can get them from and save a few dollars. Check out mousesavers.com for a list of who she recommends.

I personally wouldn't take the chance on buying tickets off of Ebay.

I've used Maple Leaf Tickets and Ticketmania before, and they were both great. We used Ticketmania for our upcoming trip, and got the tickets in about a week.

Well I did it our last trip. I bought all of our Disney tickets and Universal too through ebay. I only chose sellers with very high feedback etc. I did save a lot of money and all of the tickets turned out to be fine, BUT I was really nervous the whole time that something might be wrong with them and I decdied that all of my worring was not worth the money I saved. I won't do it again.
