My family is headed to Disney World in April for 6 nights. We
signed up for the meal plan and I have tenatively booked the
following dinners:

1) Epcot San Angel Inn
2) Polyesian 'Ohana
3) MGM Holywood and Vine
4) Downtown Planet Hollywood
5) Epcot Le Cellier
6) Fort Wild. Hoo-Dee-Doo

I am questionining the Hollywood and Vine Buffet. I went
with this to get the Fantasmic tix (reserved).

I also wonder about the Planey Holleywood....

I have two girls 15/16 that are rather picky eaters (not
too adventure-some) ...

Lastly, has anyone eaten at the Maya Restaurant in the
Coronado????

--> I do not want to shell out more bucks for Signature
restaurants as we are doing the Circus also the night
we go to Downtown Disney...

Any comments on the dining choice I have I would highly
appreciate...

Thanks,

Steve

In my opinion - I love Hollywood and Vine - the buffet is awesome - many varieties of food, and a great dessert table. We also like Prime Time Cafe at MGM. Fantasmic is the BEST. One of my top five things at WDW.

Doing Hoop Dee Doo Review in a couple weeks with some friends visiting from out of town - really looking forward to it.

San Angel Inn is on my list of things to do in 2006!

Living close to WDW, I don't always plan our visits, so sometimes unless I get lucky I can't always get into the restaurants that I might want to on any given day. Trying to change that this year, and think ahead and make plans for special and not so special occasions!

For DTD, I loved House of Blues! Great service (especially Eli!), great burgers, great chicken, something for everyone! And, really close to Cirque.

1. Never been
2. Excellent choice
3. LOVE IT
4. I personally don't like it.
5. Awesome- Get the cheddar cheese soup as an app and the maple creme brulee
6. A must see. Our absolute favorite show at Disney. A great time. Beer is included in the price too!!

1. OK
2. Fun and good food
3. Kids loved it, food good, VERY loud
4. Stunk out loud!
5. Pretty good, although the steak lover didn't like his steak.
6. THE BEST!

IMHO, Crystal Palace breakfasts are the best on WDW property, and the restaurant is lovely to boot. (And the Winnie the Pooh gang also drops by to say hello.)

Another fun meal is at the Whispering Canyon Cafe in the Wilderness Lodge.

Have a great trip!

The only one that we're not too crazy about is San Angel Inn. I don't know what part of the country you're from, but to us the food served it very different from the Mexican food we're use to. Have you had a chance to check out the menus on the DIS?? Allears.net also has a great list of menus. 'Ohana is great as well as Le Cellier! Have a great time and welcome to the DIS!!
