Advice on day before late arrival

We're going to be on the December 11 Wonder cruise for our honeymoon.

We're thinking about flying USA3000 in from Pittsburgh late on December 10 and then staying at the airport Hyatt. I was a little concerned about arriving so late (11:05). Anyone have any thoughts or experiences with flying in that late or about USA3000?

We do like the idea as it gives us all of Saturday to get ready, and the Hyatt looks so convenient with the Disney transfers....

Thanks in advance!

I think the Hyatt would be a perfect place to stay if getting in late.

The Hyatt looks nice but is pricey.

We have flown in several times arriving at 11:30 PM and take the free shuttle over to the Fairfield Inn, about a half mile away. Small place but nice, free breakfast, and the windows open. About a third of the cost of the Hyatt. In the morning we either walk over to Hertz or take the shuttle back to the airport and rent a car so we can explore and shop a bit in Cocoa Beach on the way to the ship.

There are quite a few hotels near the airport with good prices, and some use hotwire or priceline to get even better deals.

You're on your honeymoon, arriving late, and staying there one night. Are you really going to be that concerned about how the room *looks* ? I'm sure you'll find ways to occupy yourselves. :goodvibes :rotfl:

puckerup: :rotfl: My thoughts exactly..

one thing to check with late arrival is their cancellation policy...when we were on our honeymoon to WDW in 1993, we arrived late to find they had cancelled our room at the beach club! We were shocked! They said we had to call first if we wanted them to hold our ressies late....just make sure you let whichever hotel you stay at know tat you will be arriving late...

Another alternative is to book a room through Priceline (just be sure to book the highest star level). We've done that many times and have usually ended up at the Marriott, although we've also gotten the Renaissance and the Holiday Inn Select. We use Happy Limo, but if you're using DCL transfers, you can take the free shuttle back to the airport. We've never had a problem with late arrival (even after midnight), even when we have not called. I think with Priceline, it automatically holds for a late arrival.

Thanks for the advice. We're thinking that we just want to crash in our room after we arrive. Even though the Hyatt is pricey, the thought of taking a shuttle someplace else at that hour is just plain nasty.
