Hi,
The family and I are exploring the calendar, trying to plan a trip late summer or fall. Our first choice is the first week in august. How is this week as far as crowd size, park hours etc? I am hoping some park veterans can give some advice to a future park veteran. If this is not a good time, we are looking at early to mid november.

thanks for any help,

Early to mid Novermber will be less busy

Towards end of August is quieter as well

Thanks

hi: i vote for november-the food and wine festival is at epcot during the first 2 weeks of november. there are less crowds, but the park hours are shorter as well. the weather is a bit cooler too.

Another vote for November. In early August you'll still have the larger "school-isn't-in-session" crowds. The weather is VERY HOT in August, and it's hurricane season so rain is to be expected.

November brings some of the most temperate weather that region has to offer. Kids will be in school.

You will also find Disney Resort rates to be lower in November. The month of November, is considered "Value" season (lowest published rates they offer), while the first 3 weeks of August are "Regular" season.

Put that trip off a couple more months and you won't regret it.
