I am a fan of crocs. They were the only thing I wore on my entire Disney Trip last year. I do find that in real warm weather my feet do begin to sweat and I want to try to keep them cool.

I am wondering if the the croc thong is just as good as the crocs in terms of comfort and durability? I think my feet will be cooler in them but I am wondering if I will be able to endure an entire Disney vacation in them.

Advice is helpful!

Hi there. I purchased my "athens" as the croc flipflops are called on December 23 (at the Premium Outlets in Orlando) and wore them, non-stop until we arrived home in Canada! That was 2 weeks and the only time I ever had a problem was our last day when I let my feet get wet (rainstorm) and the friction caused a blister to appear. They are sooooo comfortable, I'm taking them with me on every trip. Just make sure you keep your feet dry and you shouldn't have any problems.

I lived in my Animal flip flops for the whole 2 week stay we had in WDW in May....my DB was overheating in his trainers and he picked up a pair of the Croc flip flops and proceeded to live in them till the end of our holiday (about a week and a half)!! He'd never worn flip flops before so he only had a few minor issues while he got used to them but said they were soooo comfortable and his feet didn't over heat, just a tiny bit of rubbing and his calves ached a little.

He's converted for our next trip!!

The Athens have been the only flip flops Ive been able to wear. Ive been living in them for a few months now. I still wear my regular Crocs to the parks despite the sweaty feet syndrome. I just feel more secure in them vs flip flops. I sometimes trip over the end of the flip flos, and worry about getting my toes stepped on, run over, or something dropped on them.

My DD wore her Croc flip-flops in the parks last week and was very comfortable (I begged her to wear her regular Crocs but she did quite well). The only problem was people stepping on the back of them and tripping her and a couple of strollers and one wheelchair that ran over her toes. Not to worry! She was unharmed :goodvibes

How are the Sandal style of crocs?
Like the Scutes or those other ones with the 2 thin straps across them? Anyone tried them yet?

I have the Crocs sandals (the ones with the skinny straps - the name escapes me now), and I LOVE them. The back strap is adjustable. They are so comfy that my mother bought a pair of the scutes, which she also love. They're wonderful!
