Help!

My husband and I are travelling in a foreign country right now. Last night I ran into someone I never expected to see again, a man I had an affair with when my husband was in prison. My former lover does not know I am married, and that I was married when I met him.

He wants me to meet him tonight, after the bar where he works closes. Should I meet him?

Do either of them carry a gun and is their a Death Penalty for Murder in the country you're currently visiting?

:p

If your husband ran into a woman that he once had an affair with, would you want him to meet her tonight?

what are you expecting to gain from meeting him?

since you never expected to see him again I dont see where much can be gained from opening the past. does your husband know of the affair? If you go your opening major doorways too the past.

btw..reverse it. how would you feel if your husband were deciding wether or not to meet an ex lover...what would you want him to decide?

good luck and safe travels

Isla - what would your husband think about this? This can only mean trouble for you in the long run. EVen if you only want to meet him platonically - you had an affair with him when you were married. What if those feelings reemerge? How would you explain this man to your husband if you're asked?

Run!

do you love your husband...???
if you do,,then you should not meet the other guy..
.if you don't then you still shouldn't meet the other guy until you are divorced, this could only lead to trouble...

Am I the only one that thinks something isn't quite right here? I mean, for this person to post here for the first time, and post this type of subject....just makes me wonder is all....hmmmmmm....

The answer to your question is no. Married people should not meet other people that they have had an affair with for drinks or anything else.

Now, as to whetehr or not I actually believe you are truly wrestling with this dilemma...no I don't. I htink you're a troll. But troll or not, the answer doesn't change.;)

Your ex-lover's name wouldn't be Rick, would it? I might know him. Play it again, Sam.

Thank you, I was killing myself thinking of the movie. :teeth: I was like I know I have heard this story before and that it was a movie. After that I was like

LOL!!!

Okay, so I live with my step mom and her two daughters. They treat me like crap and they are absolute SLOBS. I have to clean up after them day and night.

Now, theres this big party coming up, and all of us got invited, but step mom says I can't go. Should I get dressed up and sneak and go anyway?

I think you should invite him over to supper one night....:crazy2:

Come on, this has got to be joke, right?????

psst! cati...it's from a movie plot. Think old movie. Think Bogart and Bergman. You must remember this...a kiss is still a kiss.
