Planning a trip 2/28/10
Group of 6: 2 grandparents (us), 2 parents, 2 granddaughters (ages 7 and 5)
Will be renting points from DVC member.
From reading, I have surmised the following:

Will not be classified as a 'resort guest'.
Will not qualify for Magical express from airport.
What are transportation options?
Would we qualify for free dining option if offer is extended?

Please advise. Thanks.

You will be considered a resort guest. You will be able to use Magic Express. And the free meal plan will not apply to DVC points. HTH.

You do qualify for Magical Express. The DVC member that you are renting points from will have to set it up for you. They will need your flight info.

You will not qualify for free dining, as that is only available if you are staying in a Disney resort room booked thru Disney. Because you are renting points, you are essentially booking thru the DVC member.
