Advice needed.

disney always gives me a 14 day period to pay my deposit....they DO treat it like a reservation , they give you a reservation number and everything right then,as a matter of fact I have called during that time to check on things on the resi and change things...also to make adrs and they ask for my reservation number I give it to them and they take care of it...then i have called back the next week to give them a deposit.I have even had a problem were my dh employer had a issue with there people who do their direct deposits and they took it right back out of our account by mistake so wdw gave me another 14 days to get it to them...with NO problem.I find it funny that so many people think wdw can do no wrong,they are a company, that makes tons of money they are in it for the money make no mistake (no pun intened) stuff happens and sometimes they mess up.....

I have booked countless reservations at Disney over the years and I have always had 2 weeks to pay my deposit. I rarely take the 2 weeks, but sometimes you need that extra bit of time. I just booked our Free Dining package on 04/10/08 and had until 04/24/08 to pay the deposit. I can even prove that, as it is printed on the bottom of my confirmation that they mail to you. "Deposit due April 24th."

Of course, I always book on the phone and never online. Congrats on getting POFQ! Excellent resort.
