Advice needed for May trip with daughter!

Hello-
My 20-year-old daughter and I are planning a trip to WDW in mid-May of 2006. You may recall me asking questions regarding a previously planned trip for January - however, we needed to reschedule.

Anyway, we need some advice as to how to go about planning our vacation. We would like to stay at the Beach Club if it would be possible to get a good price at that time of year. If not, we'd need to look at a moderate resort. Any tips on how to go about this? Should we book our trip now or wait until the codes come out?

Also, will mid-May be a good time to visit WDW? Any weeks to avoid at that time of year?

We appreciate any advice you can give us. My daughter is home from college for a couple of weeks so we'd like to get some trip-planning done during this time.

Thank you!

Thank you!

We've been in mid-May and loved it...beautiful weather and not too crowded IMO. We went last year for a long weekend over Memorial weekend and it was very crowded, it rained heavily one night and the rain continued into most of the next morning and it was downpouring early the following morning also which is the day we were flying home (too close to the start of the June 1st hurricane season I guess). We're thinking about going in May again this year because it's the time of year we've had the best luck with as far as crowds and weather but we would choose early or mid-May.
