Go on June 15th
DH, 12 DS with autism - we get guest assistance pass at DW due to meltdowns with long waits, and me Mom
We do not do thrill rides. We rented a house a year ago before we knew about the expansion and are locked into the week now due to other commitments. DS is excited about Jurassic Park ride and became upset at the possibility of not going.
We have 2 day park to park tickets. Hoping to do most of it in one day.

Diagon - just walk around and maybe train if soft opening

Transformer 3d maybe
Animal Actors
ET Adventure
Men in Black
Makeup show maybe
Fear Factor
Disaster
Mummy maybe

Walk around HP
Would love to walk through castle but we would not ride.

I am at a loss on how to create our tour plan. We are rope drop people and would love open and close the park if it meant we could get everything done in one day.

You can still get a GAP at universal, usually they give you a time to come back to ride.

Mummy maybe It's pretty intense ride even before the rollercoster part takes off.

Jurassic River One long drop with some startles, we always get soaked!

Dudley maybe One long drop and we get soaked to the bone.
Walk around HP
Would love to walk through castle but we would not ride. There is a fantastic castle tour, but if you want to see it all you can go though the regular line and just OP out from riding. I have done both several times and would recommend both, especially the castle tour during busy times and the regular line in the AM.

We are also rope drop people and then we take a nap/swim/rest and then back to close the park.
I think crowds will depend on HP2 at US if it's open or doing soft openings or not.
Your ride choices will depend on why you do not like thrill rides. Is it the drops, spins, 3-D or combo of things.

1st day if HP2 is open head to Diagon Alley 1st thing and explore. We found Transformers and Men in Black to have longer lines so I would hit those early. I do not have any experience with touring with a GAC, so I would find out US current policy and adjust from there.

2nd day I would hit Hogsmead at IOA 1st thing and do the Olivanders show if you have any inkling of going there. The lines get long right away. Then the castle and then the shops. I would hit Jurassic park next as it is right next door.

since you have not been to the darkside in 14 years, suggest you go to
www.universalorlando.com and read up about all the rides/shows and get an idea of the park layouts.

you can know ahead of time the eateries, restrooms, first aid places in each park.
