Advice for WDW vetran's 1st visit to Disneyland

Sorry, I forgot I posted on this thread!

Don't get me wrong, POTC in DL is a great ride!

I like POTC better in MK, mainly because of the skeleton at the wheel of the ship at the begining right before the drop. I think it's the coolest looking effect!

I don't know, maybe it's just because I've been on POTC in MK so many times, that I'm just used to it, and don't like something that's differant, even if it is the orriginal!

Disneyland has that same skeleton with the wheel.

Not only do they have the same skeleton but the background is different...DL has lighting and wind blowing making the skeleton look scarier. I did not notice that w/ the one at WDW.

Do you mean it doesn't have that cloud effect in the background? I don't remember that version quite as well as the DL version.
