Advice for waitlist success

We are trying to move to either BCV or BWV for 2BR from Oct 28 to Nov 4. We are currently booked at our home site WLV for these dates. We have not had any luck switching the last 2 times (although one of those was Thanksgiving, so we figured it would not go through)..

Has anyone had luck switching a 2br reservation for a week stay? Any advice on how to go about it?

No advice, but we're coming in right after you. We're booked at VWL for a 1 bdrm 11/4-11/11 and am waitlisted for BWV 2 bdrm for that time frame. I'm not sure how successful we'll be as that is the end of F&W at EPCOT.
