We are thinking of taking two days out of a family visit to Jacksonville over Spring Break to head to US since we have never been there. We did Disney one year during the pre-Easter week, but the great prices we had made me not mind the crowds so much, I found they were less than predicted, we were up early, and we had fastpass to utilize.

Has anyone been to US the week before Easter? I know it will be crowded. I was figuring I'd spring for the express passes ($$$$ yikes!). Any other advice for making the trip work better? We probably won't do too many coasters, since it is DH, me, DD6 and DS2.We'll be staying off site. Can't convince DH to spend almost $700 for 2 nights at HRH in order to get fotl so that's not an option.

Thanks for any advice.

we did the pre-easter week last year with friends that had came down for spring break. it wasn't as bad as I had expected, but we were at the gates at 8:30 and had the old express passes to use.

Go first thing in the morning & you will be ok.. you can get a lot done by 11am when crowds get heavy... have fun. I may run into you. I plan on going the week before Easter. My kids are out then. I will be staying offsite, funds aren't letting me stay onsite with those prices & I refuse to pay for express pass (I am a cheap one :lmao: ).
