Advice for scoliosis brace?

My daughter will be 11 at our December trip and will be in a hard plastic torso brace during our visit. This is for scoliosis and not any injury. She has had a DAS on previous trips for her cognitive disabilities. We will reapply for this again. Her 12 year old sister has a rollator/transport chair we will bring from home. They outgrew the double stroller options after our 2021 trip. Will she be restricted from any rides for the brace? (This way we can avoid them). Anyone ever go in a Boston brace and have any advice? I went post op for scoliosis as a teenager and we know based on my experience that Space Mountain is a solid skip. But never went when I had a brace.

Astroorbiter can be uncomfortable as can StarTours. The bump on the bottom of the hill on PoC can be a bit awkward. I never tried RnR or Everest. The bumps on KS can be hard.

I was in a brace and have a Harrington rod. I also have a spine that is almost completely fused at sll vertebrae and my hips are fused, so I am very cognizant of every bump, everywhere.

I’ll ride pretty much anything I can fit into. I actually like BTM, but can’t get into SM , Everest, or (couldnt) fit into Spash.

My MIL has Harrington rods and when we took her (she was 71) she rode everything but RnRC and SM— actually none of will ride SM at WDW as it SO rough.

I came back to answer my own question in case anyone searches for past answers (like I do). Spoke to an orthopedic surgeon: disclaimer that every case is unique and a person should check with their own surgeon to be certain. But in General: If a person is in a Boston TLSO brace for the management of scoliosis, there are no restrictions on any rides at WDW or DL. If they are in a Charleston bending brace that is usually only used when sleeping, there would be even less risk of restrictions. There may be situations where Universal rides could prove too much for a TLSO, or the ride restraint won't fit correctly over a TLSO (he said a colleague told him this, so he wasn't sure which rides). In the first six months post-op from Spinal Fusion/hardware surgery, there are physical restrictions from lifting and things like impact sports that would incorporate some WDW, DL, and Universal rides depending on intensity. If scoliosis/brace is related to any tethered spinal cord, it is a situation where there are likely a number of restrictions and the person should consult with their surgeon before going (he also said these are fairly common questions that surgeons should be used to answering, especially when kids are involved).
