Doing online checkin and Appreciate any help. It's been over 16 years since we've stayed at CBR! It was our first on-site stay (and our honeymoon).

Now...

Do I want to request ground floor to avoid stairs?

I want to be close to transportation AND Centertown, should I request Martinique or Trinidad North?

I have a water/pool view room. I dunno if that means I'll have to be further from trans.

Does anyone know which rooms get cleaned first?

THANK YOU FOR ANY SUGGESTIONS!

:) k

All of Trinidad North are preferred rooms but not all of the buildings in Martinique are. Martinique buildings 21, 22 and 23 are standard rooms. I wouldn't worry about requesting a room near transportation as each village has their own bus stop. The stairs don't bother us but, when we travel with my 79 year old mother, we request downstairs simply so she doesn't have to walk up them.

We've stayed in every village except for Trinidad North and Trinidad South (now all pirate themed rooms) and our longest walk to Old Port Royale (food court, main pool, marina, etc.) was 7 minutes at a leisurely pace behind a family with a double stroller. Most other walks were 5 minutes and under.

As far as which rooms get cleaned first, I don't think that's the case as we've seen housekeepers all over the resort at the same time of the day.

**Edited to add: Having said all of that, I believe that Jamaica is our favorite village. I don't really have a reason why since all of the villages are laid out the same. We enjoy the walk through the island over to OPR.

Trinidad South are the pirate rooms, and they are the furthest from OPR/Centertown. Like the PP said, Trinidad North is preferred as well as most of Martinique, so you'll pay extra to stay there, but you'll be guaranteed to be as close to it. Standard rooms that are also quite close are in Jamaica (Building 45) and Aruba (Building 51), crossing the bridge. You can request the section, or you can request the building number.

If you want to avoid stairs, then yes, include 'first floor' in your request. Remember to make your requests in order of preference; they'll try to accomodate you on all of them, but if first floor is more important, put that first. In fact, if it's for health reasons, make sure to include it in the request.

If you have a Water/Pool view room, it means your door/window is facing the inside/promenade side of the resort. Standard rooms face the outside/garden/parking lot side. Bus stops for all sections are on the outside /parking lot side (each section has one, plus one at OPR), but the "extra walking" is minimal.

As for housekeeping, all sections are served at the same time at certain times in the day.
