Advice for prospective DVC buyers

Thanks for the honest answer JimMIA...

It was just I was sure somewhere hidden within the pages of this thread, that one of the DVC members did just that, and the DVC sales rep said they would wave the costs... It could have been for a "Sold out " resort though..

I am hoping to go and "walk" the resorts, to get a feel for which would suit us best & just posted a thread reference that...

Already had many positive replys with advice..

One thing I still cannot get an understanding for, even though I have read hundreds of posts on this site, is how you work out what YU to buy..

I hope to travel in July, August or for our anniversary in September, as I like the weather HOT!

Probably because we get so much Rain & Cold weather in the UK :rotfl2:

Which YU month / months would be best for me ???

I appreciate anyone with the time to reply to this, even though You have probably explained this a million times or more!!

Thankyou, Hazel :)

PS: if its easier & there is a thread already could you just post the link for me, Thanks!

Hazel:

Your big advantage is the exchange rate. You're getting 2 USD to every GBP. That's half price. What more could you ask for?

Very True JohnNJ..! :cool1:

I would still want to buy at WDW though, even if it was twice as much for us Brits..!

Oh wait.... It is... :sad2:

Don't forget I have those expensive flights to finance as well... Bah Humbug!

Only joking of course.. :rotfl:

Could you explain the UY mystery for me ??

Could you explain the UY mystery for me ??

There is no mystery. You basically want your use year to begin at the time of the year when you're most likely to go. In your case I would think June would work best. It has more to do with banking than with the actual use of the points.

Hope that helps.
