I'd love to get some advice.
We are going to Disney for a week and will be making a one-day pilgrimage to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter on Wednesday, August 13th while Grandma and the kids take a break day at the hotel. We have already purchased 1-day/2-park tickets and shuttle service from the hotel to Universal.
Basically, we are going to do the Harry Potter parts of the parks and understand that it will be insanely crowded and there will be long waits. But there isn't a ton of interest from those in our group in seeing or doing anything else.

That said, I would be very interested to hear suggestions from folks about things we could do to wait out the heat or take a break from the crowds. We don't know Universal at all. Are there any cool bars to sit and have a drink and a snack? Hidden gem kind of places? Anything else you would strongly recommend? Our group is four adults - ages mid-20s to late-30s.
And if anyone has recommendations for touring strategies I'd love to hear those as well.
Thanks!
