Hello! I was wondering if anyone could offer some trip planning advice. We are staying at the WL, leaving in less than 2 weeks. I have everything planned, PS made, for everything but the last night. I have no clue why I missed last night plans!
This is my first time at WDW, we are taking my 3 1/2 yo for a special trip, leaving the baby at home.

Here are our plans:
Day 1 (arrive)
Look around DTD
Dinner at Whispering Canyon

Day 2
MGM
Lunch Toy Story Pizza
Dinner Ohana

Day 3
MK (using TGM 2 day MK touring plan)
Lunch at Crystal Palace
DH and I to California Grill - yippie!
DS w/ KNO: arcade, etc - by the way I received a reference for "Jill" from my neighbor if anyone is looking. She is college age, so can keep up with my off the wall preschooler.

Day 4
MK
Lunch - maybe Cosmic Rays? not too sure.
Back to hotel for naptime.

Here is where I am stuck - what to do the last night! Since we are leaving DS w/ sitter the night before, I want to do something fun for him on our last night. Here is what I am contemplating, I received some ideas on the retaurant board...

1) Chef Mickey's early, followed by Campfire at FW. DS LOOOVES marshmellows! :teeth:
2) Check out Epcot and do character dinner at the garden grille?
3) Check out Animal Kingdom Lodge and do dinner at Boma
4) Go to Fantasmic, maybe dinner package...DS does not do waits well. DH does not think DS will sit through the show, but he has NO idea what the show is.

Keep in mind that this is kind of last minute, so I am not sure about PS availability.

Am I missing a "must see" "must eat" or "must do" with my little guy??

I appreciate any advice. These boards have been amazing for planning out trip. I am SOOOOOOOO excited!!!!

Thanks!
Molly

I was going to suggest going to AK. Kids really love the animals. Followed by dinner at Chef Mickey's. I think this meal is a must-do for every family.

I would go with choice #1--Chef Mickeys followed by the campfire/sing along. If you'e never done the campfire, it really is a fun thing to do at Disney!!

I have to say that my kids were underwhelmed with the campfire. I was so excited to finally get to try it and thought it would be great fun for all.

Well, follow the advice and doublecheck with a CM about the time. We went at the time we had read on the internet and it was actually an hour later than that. I didn't have a real problem because the kids could play on the play equipment to pass the time, but my husband and older son were not amused.

Then, when the sing-along started, the CM had the absolute WORST voice you have ever heard. I thought the first song was a joke, but he continued to be unable to hold a note and sing in the right key. Again, I was not so disturbed, but my very musical family found it very difficult to listen to.

Chip and Dale were there, but only one of them made it around to where we were sitting before they left. My family insisted we leave before the movie even started.

Another case of great plans gone astray.

I vote for Epcot and dinner at Garden Grill if you can get it. If not I still vote for epcot and dinner somewhere else. Kids love Epcot and it is often overlooked for preschoolers!!!

Thanks for the feedback!

I ended up booking the garden grill character meal at Epcot. I think DS will like the revolving floor & characters, DH looooooves flank steak, and we can get a peek at Epcot. We can also take in a couple attractions.

Shwew! I am so glad to get that taken care of.
