Advice for FP+ for 2 parties?

Hi all, just looking for some confirmation about what we’ll be able to do.
We are arriving a week before Brother in Law (BIL) and his family, we are AP holders and staying on site, DVC members.
BIL is also staying on site, but as mentioned, arriving a week later...
When it comes to reserving FP+, can we reserve anything in advance for BIL, like we would be able to ADRs, or is the earliest any FP+s can be booked for BIL 60 days out from his first day?

What kind of tickets does he have? Separately linked to his account, or, tickets purchased in a “package” with his onsite resort reservation.

If separately linked, you can book for him when your window opens if you include him and his family with the grouping of you or your onsite guests.

Ah yes, I knew there was a bit of extra info I meant to type!

BIL and family have a UK free dining package booked, including 14 day ultimate tickets which are automatically linked...

I’m not sure how UK packsges are set up. If each ticket is showing as linked to each person, you may be able to book for him when your window opens. If they are “packaged,” you’ll have to wait for his window.

How do I tell if each ticket is linked to each person?
In MDE I can see each person separately listed under Tickets and Passes with their type of ticket...

Check the MDX account in the My Tickets area. It will list the ticket and who it is assigned to. If you don’t see all the tickets, then they have a package and you won’t be able to book for them until their window opens.

Looks like I might be able to at least give it a go - although I still wonder whether it presumbably also being linked to their hotel dates will mean their later 60 day window will stop me doing theirs...

Just realised I could actually try it now as our APs are already active.
It stops me when I try BIL and co though, says valid admission is required and prompts me to link to it. When I follow the steps to link, it tells me it’s already linked.
So this makes me think it’s only gonna work once their window opens up...

You’ll have to wait for their window. Separately linked tickets have an open 30-day window...they have booked a package.
