Just looking for some advice. My parents are snowbirds. My mother is in the hospital in Florida with very bad pneumonia, etc. We almost lost her, but thankfully she is slowly improving. Their insurance is going to be flying them home to Canada. I will then be catching a flight from Orlando to Toronto and then a connecting flight to London. I haven’t been on a plane since i was 10 (which was quite a while ago!)
Any tips to make navigating the airports any easier? It will likely be an Air Canada flight. I’ll be paying for the one carry on option, so should be able to take my Larger Vera Bradley backpack for the carry on and the then my Dooney purse for my small item, correct?
It said to be at the airport 3 hours earlier for an international flight. Then if I fill out the customs form on the ArriveCan app, that should makes things easier?
My other question, it seems there is the option for a 1 1/2 hr layover in Toronto or a 3 hr layover before heading to London. Do you think the 1 1/2 hr layover would be enough time to figure out where I have to scan for customs and find my next gate?
Sorry for all the questions, but I’m a little nervous about getting lost in the airport. Lol.
