I am a DW regular and only making my 2nd trip to DL on June 28.

What do you think about my plans? We are only there for one day and I am not planning to hop over to CA.

Hopefully my party will arrive at RD. pixiedust:
Tomorrowland-
Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage – First Ride of the DAY
Space Mountain (Fastpass) - Get FP when rest of group is riding Nemo
Star Tours
Buzz Light year Astro Blasters (Get Fastpass?)
Use SM Fastpass

Fantasyland –
FP Runner goes to get Big Thunder or Haunted Mansion FP
It’s a small world
Matterhorn
Alice in Wonderland
Mad Tea Party
Dumbo
Peter Pan’s Flight
Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride
Snow White’s Scary Adventures
Pinocchio’s Daring Journey – last ride
Storybook Land Canal Boats – come back to do this later in the day and other short rides

Frontierland-
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (Fastpass) – Ride or Use FP if open

New Orleans Square-
Haunted Mansion (Fastpass) – Ride or Use FP
FP Runner goes to get Splash Mountain FP
Pirates of the Caribbean

Critter Country-
Splash Mountain (Fastpass) – Use FP
FP Runner goes to get Indiana Jones Adventure FP
Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

Adventureland-
Indiana Jones Adventure (Fastpass)
Jungle Cruise – best if you can ride at night

Thanks for any advice!

Have you read Hydroguys tips for WDW vets at DL?

If you're wanting to ride Peter Pan, it's best to do that first or it will be a 30-45 minute line.

Buzz does not have FP, but star tours does :)

Tea party, Snow White and Pinocchio usually have pretty short lines throughout the day

Big Thunder is undergoing a huge refurb until Oct 30.

Haunted mansion does not have FP this time of year.

Are you skipping Toon Town?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, we are all adults, so we will probably skip Toon Town unless we just have extra time.

Nemo will take a huge bite out of your first hour, probably up to 45 minutes unless you make it onto the first sub. They don't run many subs in the morning, it's a slow load/unload, and a long ride. It will take roughly that long at almost any time of day. Better to spend that golden first hour doing several rides like Peter Pan, Star Tours, Matterhorn, Space Mountain etc.

If you are a WDW regular and only have one day, it might be easier to skip rides that are the same or very similar to WDW -- Star Tours, Dumbo, teacups, etc. The HydroGuy sticky has a full list I believe.

Thunder Mountain is closed until October-ish so you won't be able to ride it this month.

And BTW Buzz Lightyear no longer has FPs -- the FP machines next to the ride are now used for Star Tours.

Are you planning to see any of the nighttime entertainment like Fantasmic or the fireworks?

I would be nervous about leaving it so late in the day to get my Indiana Jones FP - I was trying to guess what time this would be after doing all those other lands - they could well run out. I am biased though as that is my family's favourite ride. Both times we visited (July and April) there were long lines right up to park closing and FP's ran out some time before that.

Thanks. I feel like I have a lot wrong with the plan, so I have revised. yes, we hope to see Fantasmic and the fireworks.

I'm going to re-org, put please let me know if you have any other thoughts. This really helps!!
