hello, everyone. We have been to Orlando and done Disney (yeah!) and Universal several times:thumbsup2 , but are looking for something new. To complicate things, we are traveling with our 14 & 17 year old sons:scared1: :scared1: . anyone have any suggestions of things that would appeal to them??? any of the dinner shows? something at the "clubs" at Disney?? Gatorland?? Downtown orlando????

I appreciate anyone taking the time to make suggestions.....

I did not read anything about BG. That is our favorite park by far.

My guys also loved Gatorland not exactly my favorite place but they have been twice.

My guys also loved Old Town at night they hae car and bike nights. Again not my fav I went and listened to them ooh and ah about all the cool rides.

I have a DS12 & 17... they have a been there done that attitude most of the time.

But we just got back & did Blue Man Group at Universal.... they both loved it (along with DH & Me)... I highly recommend it!

That's easy one US and IOA is awesome place for teen boys. Please there's Citywalk that's has the HardRock Cafe and don't ESPN Zone. The NBA City restaurant is a awesome place to eat if they is into basketball.

Forgot to add Fun Spot

There is a 3 tiered go karts. My guys and DBIL loved it. You would think they never drove a car. It comes off in mid air they said. Not sure but they are a bunch of crazy guys so it could be true. Any way they loved it.

Personally, I recommend you check out Sky Ventures. It's a indoor sky diving facility (wind tunnel) and it's really fun. Went for the first time two summers ago and we love it!!! It's a bit expensive, but if you're buying tickets for the family, you can do a family package. It's right on I drive -- directly across from Wet N Wild.

My older ones did not travel well as teens didn't matter where it was what it was they didn't want to go with mom and dad and made our vacations miserable. At about 17 we started leaving the oldest at home. She was much happier an so was we.

We had friends and extended family members who was gonna be in the area at all hours of day and night drive by and check on her and the younger one when she started staying home as well. My DD's did not know there was gonna be ppl driving by checking on them. Making sure cars that belonged in driveway was there and cars that didn't belong was not in driveway. Never had a problem.

My older ones was told there will come a time you gonna want to go but don't bother asking they haven't but we could tell they wanted to go again sometimes they have never been asked.

Split vacations might work for you as well. OR Ask the kids what they want to do.

Ok, totally off topic, but your pretzel is too cute. Where did you find that?!?! I'm a pretzel freak and I'd LOVE to get that when we're at the world in Sept.

thanks everyone for your advice. This will give me some things to investigate! Thanks again. You guys are the greatest:thumbsup2

Our kids were the same EXCEPT for Orlando - the one vacation they loved with their folks thru their teens! They still love Disney.
Also agree with Crazilion, teens like the vibe at Universal.
