DH and I are planning a last minute trip (well, it seems like a last minute trip since we usually plan our trips at least a year in advance) to WDW for our 10th anniversary. We will be staying at BWV and are wondering where we should eat for our anniversary dinner (no kids on this trip - just us). I made PS for Yachtsman Steakhouse, but I've never been there. Will we like it (we are steak lovers)? Is there somewhere else you would recommend?

Thanks!

Happy Anniversary!

I cant tell you from experience how it is, but I think you made a good choice. After going over the menus, and getting reviews on these boards, I narrowed down our 9th anniversary dinner(without kids too) to either Yachtsmans Steakhouse or Palio, and I ended up going with YSH. I will be able to give a review in a couple weeks as we will be dining there on 7/22. :Pinkbounc From all Ive heard, Im really looking forward to it.

We celebrated our anniversary last year at Shula's enjoyed it very much. Especially if you like steak, I had the filet my husband had the t bone very good. You do get good service and felt good while we dined did not feel rushed very comfortable restaurant, choc souffle YUM....

As far as Yachtman have't dined there in years, sorry

but I would recommend Shula's it's at the Dolphin resort close to you.

Have a wonderful anniversary congrats.

We're also going solo this Sept :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Thanks for the quick reply CamColt and Happy Anniversary to you too! I'd love to hear your opinion when you get back. I've heard good things about it from these boards also, which is why I picked it.

Have a great time!!!!!

disneyfuntime, thanks for your quick reply. I'd heard good things about Shula's as well, but I sort of forgot about it when going over my choices. I may have to reconsider...decisions, decisions! I love having these "tough" decisions to make!

We just got back and celebrated our 10th anniversary at California Grill. It was wonderful. The food was great and they seated us by a window for our anniversary where we had an amazing view of Wishes. They pipe in the music and dim the lights.

Ditto for us! We celebrated our 8th at CG and the seats/view were amazing! Oh, and the filet was out of this world! Best I've ever had!

Hmmm...I wasn't going to consider California Grill (although we love it) because we've eaten there a few times already. But now that I think about it, each meal we've had there has been excellent and the service has been excellent as well. This decision is getting harder instead of easier! Thanks for the responses!

We had our tenth at Victoria and Alberts...really special. Yatchmans Steakhouse is also very good too. Have a great anniversary!!:sunny: :sunny:

I just changed my PS from Yachtsman to California Grill. I got a PS for 8:00 so that we can see Wishes from there. I think we will try Yachtsman on our Dec' 05 trip.

Thank you everyone!!!!

I'm probably too late with this one, but I'd highly recommend Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge. Its a very romantic setting and the food, while "different", is great.

I'd also say that the Yachtsman is a great choice. Very good steaks and service.

Of course, the ultimate would be V&A's. But that would cost quite a bit more!

We are also celebrating our anniversary in August, staying at the WL. We are considering Artist's Point or YSH. We had a wonderful anniv. dinner a couple of years ago at AP, but would like sometning a little different this time.

We are prime rib lovers and would consider Shula's but the only prime rib I see on an on-line menu is 32 oz. A little big for our diets! Anyone know if they have a smaller one?

We'll be having our 10th Anniversary dinner at V&A's. We haven't been there before ($$$$), but we have always wanted to try it and there's no better occasion. Based on your counter, it looks like our anniversaries are not too far apart!

We might be in the minority here, but we like the Hoop Dee Doo Show for our anniversary. I love a good rib-eye, but the fun atmosphere and silliness is what we enjoy!
