tis true, botox is supposed to work, but I think its a bit drastic.
I used to have this problem but losing weight helped a lot. I do still perspire a lot but just make sure i wear natural fibres and use a deoderant not an anti perspirant (which actually blocks sweat glands but then causes sudden rushes of sweat)
Hi,
My nan used to have this problem before she lost alot of weight. You must use an antiperspirant not a deoderant as they are 2 different things. Also the Doc recommended 2 things you can get over the counter 1 was Triple Dry,the other was Driclor-she swore by the latter one-you must follow the instructions carefully to get the best results.Good Luck .x.
It was like a miracle! I found it at a local small chemist.
You only use a little applied with a piece of cotton wool - each night for at least 5 nights(washing off in the morning), then only a couple of times a week. Fantastic.
Occasionally I do find I have to repeat the original process. At first I did use 2 sprays direct and did find some tingling, so cut down to the one spray on cotton wool and I have no problem.
My brother suffers from the same thing, he uses a roll on call perspexs sorry not sure on the spelling however he gets it from asda. you need to let it dry though for about 15 mins before you put your clothes on.
have you mentioned it to your doctor? Might be able to recommend the right thing for you. I agree with above Driclor seems to be the strongest non - prescription route
There is a long term surgery treatment- can't recal what it is tho!
