Advice about Ubering to Epcot via the International Gateway

Hi!

I have friends that are at WDW right now. They will be going to Epcot tomorrow morning. They were debating going through the main entrance or Ubering there and entering via the alternative entrance at the International Gateway. Goal is to get to Frozen Ever After after rope drop.

Any advice on uber-ing to Epcot via the International Gateway. Would they have to get dropped off at the Beach Club and walk over or is there a better drop off location?

There's no drop-off location closer to Gateway than the resorts unless the Uber is an amphicar.

The only place they could get dropped off is at the Beach Club. The IG is only accessible by sidewalk from the back of the resort.

Beach Club is the closest, followed by Boardwalk and then Yacht Club.

To get to Norway, I find it easier to just go to the front gate. The distance from the front vs. IG is six and one-half dozen.

I would just go to the front. Sometimes the International Gateway doesn't open until a few minutes past rope drop. If that happened on their day, they'd be behind the crowds.

Thanks everyone! That was a big help! I have never entered via the International Gateway so I was not 100% on the Uber. I advised her to just get there early and enter via the main gate. They are staying at Poly so the monorail will be convenient. I appreciate it!

boardwalk and beach club are almost the exact same distance from where uber drops you off, beach might be 100 or so feet closer (measured in google maps). I use boardwalk just because driving wise, it's a little closer coming off world drive so you pay a hair less and every penny counts. beachclub you walk mostly in the sub where boardwalk has some shade but beachclub you don't have to climb up and down the "bridge" and can walk the pathway that goes under it. I started to use boardwalk all the time after a very hot day and lots of sun beating down with no cover.
