Disney's Animal Kingdom®
Theme Park

I am torn on this one. I very well may pass.
First, $250 for Blaine and I to attend.
Second, I never have watched Survivor, and had no desire to. So would I even care on the theming?
I am not a regular Ebay seller. IF we attended, I would reconsider in this case. I would feel I need to, to recoup some of the cost.
And another part of me says that by paying $125 PP, this is condoning a pin event at this cost.
And big deal if I missed one event.

I not saying I will attend. And not saying I won't.
Just something to consider.

Others thoughts?:tilt: :scratchin

Shawn and I are going. Its been almost two years since we went to a pin event together, its a week after my birthday, our APs from our family trip last year are still good and AK is my favorite park.......all great reasons why we are making the trip! $125 a piece is not cheap, but we are excited and going to have a great time no matter what! Hope we can see some of you there. We have our plane tickets and our hotel room and after we register this morning for the event we will be all set!

I think the fact that it is an after hours park event makes it so high. It would be nicer if there was more than one thing (TTBAB)that you could do with lesser crowds. I would have paid it if I had been there at the right time because I don't get to many pin events but if I lived there I don't know if I would. Maybe you could do like some others and find a sponsor for one of you to help defray the cost.

I would like to go; and the price is ok with me since I only have to pay for me. I love animal kingdom, and love the idea of it being after the park has closed--I'm sure this is part of the "reason" behind the price being higher.

I'd like to incorporate this event into our family summer vacation, so if I can do that, I'm sure I will go.

Does anyone know the cut-off date for cancellation/refund? I need to know that before I book it, in case I can't make the whole trip happen.

Who else is thinking of going??

I thought I'd be going since we are down there that week for our FairyTale Wedding, so the timing was perfect. But after all the $$$ I'm spending that week, another $250 for one night is just too much.

Id luv to go...does anyone need a proxy?!? Actually 2...seein' how theres 2 of us....if yes, PM me with the details...;)

I 'member the first event at AK...it was awesome...!!! :earsgirl: Ill never forget it...!!!

Hey Daber,

Tell us a little about your Fairy Tale Wedding.

That sounds wonderful.

OK It's our 25th wedding anniversary in June. Carol kept asking for us to renew our vows and I kept telling her it was a dumb idea. Secretly, I've been running around WDW and all our friends planning a surprise wedding. Well, one day at dinner, Carol tells me she doesn't care what I say, we are going to renew our vows and she's started planning this. So, I had to tell her and now she's in on SOME of the details. The date is June 15th and it will be within an hour or so of when we got married. It's at 6:00 PM at the Wedding pavallion. After some photos, it's off to EPCOT for a reception in a roped off area of Italy for food and Reflections of Earth. After that we go to the third floor (bet you didn't know there was one) of the American Adventure for the dinner. Party gets over at 11:00. If you want to follow the adventure and see pics afterwards go to www.disneywed.com/abercrombieandabercrombie.

They've only showed a few pins so far....but they are looking very good.

Too bad I have to go to some silly high school graduation for DS#1 that weekend.
